Nitrix Oxide

Nitrix Oxide is a punk-rock glamour clown who moved to San Francisco two years ago and stumbled headfirst into the Bay Area drag scene. Their name comes from “nitrous oxide” or “laughing gas”, which leaves you bewitched, bothered, maybe even a little bewildered. They are so excited to be working with Into the Dark this year on their first Peaches Christ production! Nitrix performs all over the San Francisco and Oakland drag communities. This year they started Killer Queen, a punk/alternative drag show that runs every third Tuesday at the Elbo Room Jack London in Oakland, and every fourth Saturday at Gingers in San Francisco. Nitrix is also the host of Zodiac, a weekly viewing party of the Boulet Brother’s Dragula, followed by floorshow featuring local drag performers and guests from the television show. In November, Nitrix will be traveling to Texas with other Bay Area performers as a selected artist of the 2019 Austin International Drag Festival. They are also available for children’s birthday parties. Hey…a gig is a gig!
